What are the hours and location?
The Christkindlmarket is located at Denver Civic Center Park - 101 W. 14th Ave. Denver, CO 80202, and will be open from November 22 to December 23, 2024.
Hours
Sunday - Wednesday: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Thursday - Saturday: 11:00am - 9:00pm (Gates close at 9:00pm)
Festival Hall Hours
Thursday - Saturday: Open until 10:00pm (Gates & vendors close at 9:00pm)
Exceptions
Thanksgiving Day: 11:00am - 4:00pm
Final week (12/15-12/23) : 11:00am - 9:00pm
Parade of Lights (12/7): Please note that this is the busiest day of the market and downtown. Expect crowds and possible wait times to enter the market.
Is the Christkindlmarket free to attend?
Yes, the Christkindlmarket is free and open to all. You only pay for what you consume or purchase from vendors inside the Market.
How can I get to the Christkindlmarket?
There are many transportation options to get to our winter wonderland. For info, please visit the Civic Center Park website. We recommend carpooling, public transportation, or other sustainable transportation options!
Is there a lost and found?
If you have lost or forgotten something at the Market, please inquire with the Bar Manager on duty at the Festival Hall bar.
Where can I find the restrooms
The nearest restrooms are the portable toilets located in both zones of the park. They will be located near the entrance on Broadway above the Kinder Wunderland pavilion. They are cleaned daily and are ADA accessible.
Is there reserved parking for guests?
There are several options for parking near Civic Center Park, including metered street parking, parking lots, and parking garages. However, there are no designated parking lots specifically for the Christkindlmarket.

Are there lodgings near the Christkindlmarket?
There are many hotels near Civic Center Park for guests to stay during their visit.
Is the market kid-friendly?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being an all ages friendly and welcoming Market, especially for kids. There will be plenty of entertainment for children, a live music dance floor in front of the stage, as well as sweets, hot chocolate, and pastry vendors and an opportunity to meet the Christkind (the market’s namesake!) and Saint Nikolaus on specific dates.
This year, we are also featuring a Kinder Wunderland. This will be an interactive kids play area with yard games and other activities. Please check our entertainment calendar for book readings, photo ops, and more family friendly activities.
Is the market wheelchair-friendly?
Yes, the Market is wheelchair accessible, with ramps, as well as ADA accessible restrooms. Please note that weekends and evenings can get extremely busy and can be challenging to navigate in a wheelchair.
Is the market dog-friendly?
Dogs are always welcome at the Market. However, please take care to keep your pets on a leash at all times and clean up after them. In the event that your pet is unfriendly towards other customers, our security personnel will ask you to escort the pet to another location. Please note that due to crowding, dogs are not recommended during the Parade of Lights. However, dogs are especially welcome at our annual Canine Christmas day on November 29.
