In the unlikely event of severe weather conditions causing a delay or cancellation on a day the Market is open, we will post updates on our website and social media. To preserve the traditional Christkindlmarket, we will not be showing any sports games.
Can I watch the Parade of Lights from the Christkindlmarket?
Traditionally, the Parade of Lights is staged at Civic Center Park before the floats parade through the streets of Denver. The 2024 Parade of Lights will be on December 7th. Please visit our Market and Park rules, below, for further guidance.

Does the Market have extra security?
We are doing everything we can to keep the market safe and enjoyable for everyone. The perimeters of the Market are fenced in with security at each entrance as well as inside the Market 24/7 for the entire duration of the Market.
Is the Market cash-friendly?
The majority of vendors at the Christkindlmarket accept both cash and card payments. Bars encourage credit cards, but cash payment is accepted in the Festival Hall.
What is the drinking policy at the Market?
Alcoholic beverages are available for the enjoyment of all guests 21 and older with a valid identification card to show proof of age. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. The Bar Staff has the authority to refuse to serve any guest at any time for any reason.
